League One side Bradford City have confirmed a season long loan deal for Bury player Adam Thompson.
The Northern Ireland player is with the national team for the international break. He would join Stuart McCall’s side after international duty. The former Watford centre half is expected to add to the City ranks this campaign. McCall said he was happy to have the player on board as he plays a role they clearly wanted to strengthen.
As Bury lose the new addition, they have added another in MihaiDobre from Bournemouth. The 19-year old winger is expected to feature for Bury until January. He would miss the clash with Scunthorpe this weekend as he is with Romania U-21 for international games. Read More
It seems Bury FC has stopped their pursuit of Tom Aldred for some reason.
But, all of a sudden after that, there was a change of heart for Clark and he opted for a couple of other defenders leaving the Aldred deal in the cold box and recently, he said that he wouldn’t be making any more additions to his defence department this summer which clearly meant that the arrival of Aldred to the Shakers camp was out of the question, at least for now.
This is somewhat surprising because Clark had worked with Aldred before. In fact, he was the one who had brought him to Pool when he was at the helm at Bloomfield Road and he was pretty keen on reuniting with him, but, it wasn’t to be and the 26-year old would now have to look for another destination as his current deal with Pool has already expired. Bury, who are fighting a relegation battle this term, defeated their guests Northampton 3-0 in a League One clash over the weekend.
They tried returning the favour but Brendan Moloney fired over the bar. Both sides had chances that they failed to convert. Bury player Tom Pope sent his effort straight to the keeper; Murphy stopped Matty Taylor’s set piece; Ryan Lowe went close twice while Taylor Moore sent his volley over.

Bury manager Lee Clark said that he is confident that his team can avoid relegation.
Clark said that his team is gradually getting accustomed to his methods and he feels that the players are responding well to the training. He stated that the team was in a mess when he took over and he had to motivate the players.
He said that the players had been so used to losing games that they were not willing to fight anymore. Lee Clark stated that he had to spend some time to talk to them to make them believe that they can be competitive and win matches. Read More
Bury has hired a new boss in Chriss Bass who would resume with assistant Ryan Kidd.
The interim manager Brass was confirmed as the substantive boss until the end of the term. Chris Sedgwick will remain as the manager of the feeder team.

Bury FC played their 14th league match of the season on October 18th as they faced off with AFC Wimbledon in a match that concluded with Bury FC losing 1-2 and this was the 5th successive league loss in the team of David Flitcroft.
‘’I have brought some very good, experienced players to this football club but it was the likes of Niall Maher who really stood up in the 2nd half and that was excellent but I’m not wanting Niall at this stage of his career to be outstanding, I want my experienced players to stand out in those moments’’

Wolves have completed the signing of Bury’s goal keeper Jack Ruddy, Sky Sports reports.
“I’m over the moon to be here and to have joined such a big club with really big ambitions. I have really enjoyed my time at Bury and want to thank everyone there for what they have done for me, but the interest from Wolves was always going to be very exciting,” the excited young lad said.
Ruddy is obviously a big fan of the side as he mentioned that Wolves are a side with history of goalkeepers like Matt Murray, Wayne Hennessey and Carl Ikeme. He seemed happy to get a path to develop as others despite being a young goalkeeper. He is obviously happy that the manager of the club was also a goalkeeper.

Joe Riley who plays for Bury is one of the highly sought after player for a summer transfer move away from the club, according to TeamTalk.com. A lot of clubs are reported to be interested in landing the player. They include Shrewsbury, Burton Albion, Bolton and Fleetwood Town.
Riley left the club to play for Oxford United on loan. During his spell at United, he made 24 appearances for the club but wasn’t retained after the season. He didn’t have much left on his deal at Bolton and the club didn’t extend it, so he joined Bury on a free transfer in 2015. He couldn’t even start immediately at the Lancashire club as he suffered a hamstring injury.

Bury have confirmed the signing of three players to the squad ahead of the forthcoming season, according to reports from the club.
Maher, who is just 20 years old, made five appearances in the last season and he played 10 games on loan at Blackpool during the 2014/2015 season. Ismail, 22, played for the Three Lions in the Under-16 and Under-17 categories. He also enjoyed a loan spell with MK Dons, Burton, Notts County, Oxford and even Cambridge.
On the other hand, Williams played at Valley Parade in 78 games since joining from Scotland in 2014. He broke the club’s record of 25 clean sheets in the last campaign. His career spans 14 years.
